Mr. Alonso has a double Degree in Business Administration and Management from Deusto University. Before completing his stay at the University he had already geared his professional career to the tax and mercantile areas, which has not prevented him from completing his previous training as a lawyer by attending the Master Degree for Access to the Legal Profession.
His great curiosity and interest in widening his knowledge has made him to simultaneously combine his job at CIALT with his great commitment to increase his training on Tax Law focused on highly specialized areas, such as taxation in the Autonomous Communities enjoying special historical privileges (i.e. “Fiscalidad Foral”), tax procedures or international taxation. On this last aspect, he has successfully passed the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) title, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), which has a great prestige and recognition among professionals who develop their daily tax practice in an international context.
Gorka is a member of the Gipuzkoa Bar and he is a member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (“AEDAF”).
He loves to be at the forefront of the latest developments and he strives to seek all that which may be positive for both his firm and Clients.
He has a highly-developed sense of solidarity and he is always willing to help his workmates in all kinds of situations that may arise, making the most out of synergies with the people working at his law office. In his personal sphere he devotes a great part of his time to collaborate with NGOs.
